SIZErise (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Appsarise. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use SIZErise, a Shopify application that provides AI-powered shoe size recommendations.

2. Information We Collect

From shoppers (end customers):

• Foot length measurement (centimetres or inches)
• Optional reference shoe brand and size
• Shopify customer ID (if logged in to the store)
• Session identifiers for analytics

From merchants:

• Shopify store domain and store name
• Product catalogue data (shoe names, sizes, variants)
• Shoe fit profile information entered by the merchant
• Billing and subscription information (managed through Shopify)

3. How We Use Information

• To generate personalised shoe size recommendations using AI
• To improve our recommendation accuracy over time
• To provide analytics and usage reports to merchants
• To process subscriptions and billing through Shopify
• To communicate with merchants about their account

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — foot measurements and shoe data are sent to generate recommendations. No personally identifiable information beyond measurements is included in AI requests.
• Shopify — as required for app functionality and billing.
• Infrastructure providers — for hosting and database services, under strict data processing agreements.

5. Data Retention

Recommendation records are retained for 12 months to improve accuracy and for merchant analytics. When a merchant uninstalls SIZErise, their data is marked for deletion. Upon receiving a GDPR or CCPA deletion request, we permanently delete all associated personal data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU/EEA residents): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing of your personal data.

Under CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know, delete, and opt-out of sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Under the Australian Privacy Act: You have the right to access, correct, and request deletion of personal information we hold about you.

SIZErise uses essential cookies only (session management, OAuth state). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

SIZErise is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of significant changes via email.
